Escape, death, and other custody changes should never be labeled ordinary release. Notification systems may report such events, but the event type must be read as written. The official search screen clearly warns that discharged offenders are excluded. The matching manifest image comes from the MODOC active-offender portal.
The screen is useful for active parole or probation, not as a complete historical list of Scott County released inmates. When no active result appears, use the nightly Sunshine file or send a focused request to OD.SunshineRequest@doc.mo.gov. Ask for the actual release, parole, conditional-release, or discharge event and date. The documented “Sentence Maximum Release Date” and “Sentence-I Minimum Release Date” fields do not, by themselves, prove the day a person physically left a facility.

The five-year state retention minimum supports a later record request, but it does not keep a released person visible online.
Scott County Release Supervision Office
Scott County’s current state-supervision navigation point is MODOC District 23S-Sikeston at 102 Arthur Street, Sikeston, Missouri 63801, phone 573-472-5353. A legacy guide used District 14 and “Arthur Drive.” The current directory controls. Assignment may follow the person’s approved residence and case administration, so a Scott County conviction does not prove that District 23S is the assigned office.
Search the active MODOC portal first. Distinguish incarceration from probation, parole, or conditional release, then note the assigned place if shown. Federal and Immigration Release Searches

Why did a released person leave the roster? The roster is built for present county custody, not release history. Once Scott County custody ends, the booking may drop from view. The release record, not the blank result, supplies the needed event.
Scott County Release Facility
Scott County Sheriff’s Office operates the county’s only verified adult detention facility. Scott County Jail stands across Tywappity Street south of the Judicial Building and faces New Madrid Street. The jail operates around the clock, while the Sheriff’s Office follows weekday business hours. A 24-hour operation does not prove that releases occur on a fixed schedule or at all hours.
Scott County Jail holds local detainees and can release someone to the community after bond, time served, dismissal, or another lawful order. No separate municipal jail, state prison, federal prison, or dedicated ICE facility was verified in Scott County.
